What’s the brutal reality of owning a Resin printer?

Do not listen to this It’s definitely a big difference. If you cannot tell the difference you do not have good enough settings or high quality resin. With high quality printers like Phrozen 8K paired with their 8k resin you can literally get ”plastic” parts without layer lines. Most hobbyists who pr

Multiple print failures on new sonic mini 8k

If the resin is leaking onto the fep then first order of business is to not print until you swap out the Nfep for a new one and make sure it's not leaking. That's like having a punctured tire and instead of fixing the puncture you keep pumping it up and wondering why you're running a flat. As for th

Issue with prints not sticking to the build plate

Rest after retract times are the correct answer. Minimum of 5-10 seconds for bottom layers, and minimum of 1s for normal layers. If your slicer doesn't allow for separate rest after retract times for normal and bottom layers, then UVtools is a great free tool that lets you set that on already sliced

What's the best resin printer for minis

I know its been a few days, but I have both a Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K and an Elegoo Saturn 4 Utra - the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K is probably the 'best' all around printer, but all the major manufacturers are basically the same so see who is having a sale. There are a lot of resin types as well, be sure to p

But i personally wanted this one in particular because its prints are supppper pristine detailed and clean. Its

Question about printing for other people - (i am not offering commissions)

It all depends on your quality, the resin you use, How well you clean it, what the results are, How much you pay for resin. Many hobbyists buy resin printers and buy cheap resin, use the settings on the bottle getting bad results and charging alot for really bad quality Resin printers are a hobby in

Which features were important when you bought your 1st printer? Any regrets?

I wanted it exclusively for minis because I was sick of paying stupid cash each Christmas for them, for presents . So the quality had to be the main factor, ended up with the phrozen sonic mini 8k and at the time it was more expensive than printers the same size. Don’t regret it and it remains my mo

LCD screen has inverted in the middle.

This seems to be LCD damage and if so, it can only be fixed by replacing the LCD screen. But the Sonic Mini 4K has reached the end of its support, meaning that you are not guaranteed able to acquire every components from us, and the LCD is happened to be one of the component that many people asked b
