Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?

I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Selling the A7CII for a Fuji ie X-E5. Anyone else made a similar jump?

I made a similar switch from a7iii with 35mm GM to x100vi, but i didn’t like it because i missed that full-frame crispness. So, i sold the x100vi and switched to lumix S9 to get back to full frame but with customizable LUTs that are similar to fuji. But after using it for a few months, i realized th

Has anyone actually shot a good film or indie short film on the s1ii?...not seeing anything outside editorial on this.

It's a well documented issues with Lumix cameras after the S5ii, they have severe noise reduction which leads to ghosting artifacts. There was a lengthy .pdf running around in Lumix groups that a guy made comparing factory s5ii firmware and all updates and cameras after that. Anyway, the only way ar

S1 II is abit overkill for just taking photos and video of family and travel?

And I agree that S1II is too bulky for just family/travel The only recent non-bulky bodies Lumix has are the S9 and L10 If you "need" full frame uncropped 4k 60, you'll have to look into other brands. I use the S9 for all my personal content and even then I find it overkill. I have no idea why anyon

Sigma just announced the new full-frame L-mount Sigma BF

the big problem is that its worse in every way to an a7c, or a7cii you cant make up excuses for not having critical features when your competitors can include the same features with cameras of the same size and price. the design, lack of buttons, no sd card and even no ibis would be fine disregardin

I upgraded from s9 to s5ii, here are my initial thoughts

All points stand that’s why I went with Fuji xe5 with 23mm lens. Planning to get x100vi for extra stop of light, nd filters and flash. Size wise lighter than s9, that I had before. Picture quality is better - 40mpix does something magical where they look three dimensional straight out of film recipe

S9 Owners - Is it Good For Youtube Content Creation? Or is there Anything else that you like better?

If you call sony af terrible then it sounds more like a skill issue. Sony AF is still better than lumix, but they all have their own quirks. Also for Sony I'm pretty sure the ibis sucks but if you turn on dynamic or dynamic active which is their e stab mode it looks decent. S9 or any camera from any

Camera decision: G100D vs GF10

Lenses aside, the G100D is getting into the size range of the Lumix S9/Leica Q3/Sony a7cii cameras. You can't just yadda-yadda the lenses. The lenses are the whole thing. Yes, it is possible to make a small full frame body: S9, fp, A7C, etc. And you can even find a normal prime walk around lens that

Firmware Update 1.6 for Lumix S9

Panasonic markets the S9 as a creator camera. So the lack of support for the DJI gimbals (Activetrack) and for Flow does not make any sense to me.

I got caught in the L10 hype but ended up buying an S9 instead

We are both hybrid shooters so video is pretty important. And I just got done shooting an event with my G9ii and the 50-200 and got tripod/monopod like shots at 600mm full frame equivalent with crop zoom handheld thanks to IBIS. I think a lot of the target audience who mostly want a travel photograp
