Is this the holy grail of M43 Cameras?
Very annoying. All we'll probably see from Lumix now is a hand me down S9 body for the next M43. I hope I'm wrong. There is hope with a French company making a beautiful small M43 camera, hopefully it'll be great https://esquisse.camera/

A new M43 camera, from insta360. The rumor turns out to be real.
That’s because the G100 has no relative value. Relative to the GX line it’s not meaningfully smaller, not cheaper at launch, and clearly less capable. If there was a GX99 and a G100 available to buy new at a similar price who would buy the G100? If you add an articulating screen (costs manufacture n

Why does Panasonic pump out premium m43 cameras but make the S9 so cheap and plastic?
Actually, Fuji had huge price hikes over the years (I'm a fuji user), especially with their latest cameras like the X100VI and XE5, yet people are still buying them (Including me lol). You said Lumix wants to keep prices lower but L10 cost $1500 which is like only a hundred dollar less than the X100

OM-5 Mark ii, what does it compare to in the lumix line up?
Yes unfortunately g9ii despite the big size difference. If lumix weren't idiots they would have made a GX9 II based off the S9 or previous GX85 already to compete with OM, fuji and Sony A7C lineup instead they made the S9 with too many drawbacks and no small lenses available when they have arguably

The Lumix S9 finally has a compact prime lens - TTartisan just released their 40mm 2.0 L-mount version
I don't understand what Lumix was thinking with the release of the S9 without a small quality prime for the camera. If they had released S9 with a small quality 28mm or 40mm f/2.8 prime, sales would have went through the roof. The S9 was not a fit without that small prime to hang my hat on. Bloggers

Do you think we will ever see a new Linux G with a sense?
I lost on Panasonic and M43 honestly, if they recycled rhe S5II body for the G9II they could have recycled the s9 body for a GX9II and release this year. The fact that they are copying GM1 colours and releasing them on S9 this year makes me think that they don't care anymore for small M43. Honestly

FUJIFILM X-E5 Promotional Video/ FUJIFILM
It's certainly not aimed at pros, unless a wedding photographer wants a B cam for stylized shots. Yet it's priced high enough to exclude most casual users. Every brand is hopping on the bandwagon with this rangefinder-esque style: Nikon Zf, Lumix S9, Sony A7C. I love the way all of these cameras loo

Options for a FF mirrorless?
Yeah, i meant for the average dude [m/f] that wants to buy "a camera" Most people will know that Canon and Nikon make cameras. Sony is also pretty well known, but i've met non-hobbyists that were surprised i had a digital Olympus. I honestly don't think most people starting in photography know you c

I just sold all my Sony equipment for LUMIX. Best decision I have made.
I have S9 and A7CR. I am really not seeing any point of this. You are just arguing now you can apply LUTs and is "WAY Better" because you don't need to do as much post work. granted! that's a plus... but that you are also assuming no one else knows how to use LUTs on a sony footage. which is like..
