Lumix L10 real-world experience?

I have one for about 4 weeks now. I am in Germany and ordered in a shop. It is my first MFT camera. I have an S9 and S1RII as well. It took me about 3 days to get used to the controls of the camera. The menus are the same, so no learning here. The build quality is a big step up from the S9 and I wou

Lumix L10 Preview (Micro Four Nerds)

I'm sorry but I feel like Panasonic is helpless. They swing and miss with everything since the GX85. I love what they are trying to do but this leaves so many questions. I also love Emily's videos, but she is a content creator, she raves about a camera like the OM-3, then a couple weeks after her "1

Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?

I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Why does Panasonic pump out premium m43 cameras but make the S9 so cheap and plastic?

Actually, Fuji had huge price hikes over the years (I'm a fuji user), especially with their latest cameras like the X100VI and XE5, yet people are still buying them (Including me lol). You said Lumix wants to keep prices lower but L10 cost $1500 which is like only a hundred dollar less than the X100

Panasonic I beg you we need an updated GM1

This - better IBIS typically means a bigger unit. Modern sensors and processors are generating a lot more heat than predecessors, those burst speeds and higher megapixel faster frame rates contribute significantly but so do all the aids such as waveform. Similar with higher res and faster refresh EV

Videographers Opinions on GH7 vs Panasonic FF?

I got a GH7 plus a ton of lenses over the past 7 or 8 months. I did it because I had 2 use cases I wanted in a camera system: smaller EDC (have a GM1, GX85, OM3) and great film/video capability. Panasonic is definitely putting its primary effort behind FF, but the benefit of that is that you can get

What are some photography hot takes?👀

almost every camera aimed at photographers needs to have a viewfinder, in most situations not using a viewfinder just ruins the endire experience, its neither ergonomic/comfortable nor stable. its insane how many new caemras are coming out without viewfinders and how rare optional evfs are consideri

Osaka on the Lumix L10

i agree that manual zoom would be more functional, but i can see why they did electronic zoom because it comes off as more 'premium,' which the $1500 point-and-shoot crowd will care about. the people buying this have money and will care more about how it feels to shoot with than enthusiast/pro-level

Why does Panasonic pump out premium m43 cameras but make the S9 so cheap and plastic?

I'm sorry how does that have to do with anything I said though? I asked why Panasonic didn't have a premium retro camera for their FF lineup despite them releasing premium m43 cameras. I then mentioned other manufacturers including Fuji having premium retro models. FYI Fuji does have a premium retro

Really disappointed in the S9 build quality

Common compliant. I'm hoping for an upgraded video 's7/s8' at some point bc the Canon 'v' series of cameras are really starting to look like video competitors to lumix. as is the ZR, though i'm sticking with the s9 at this point. the plasticky builds are getting annoying. om-3 supposedly did well.
