Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?
I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Which Lumix full-frame camera do you recommend for wedding photography?
As the one who converted from G9 myself, something like S5II will suit you just right and will improve autofocus because it now has PDAF instead of just DFD on G9. I did use S9 at first but really missed EVF, so took advantage of this Best Buy deal, that gets you S5II, 20-60 kit plus free 85mm f1.8

Why is Lumix always never mentioned when it comes to camera brands?
Because Panasonic didn't even enter the real sensor size market until 2018 or 2019. Nikon may have been late to mirrorless (and needed a few years to get their shit together), but they had their DSLR history to stand on. So no one thinks of Lumix as a thing. AF performance. The ranking is probably S

35mm sigma 1.4 art II on s9 focus woes
If you'd like smaller look to the new 40mm lumix 2.0. The pics are nice. 1.4 is fantastic. I put a 1/8th diffuser to soften it a touch. All is good except that focus on this s9. I don't think I got a bad focus copy. When it's just the right conditions, no focus issues. But I can't always have that,

I upgraded from s9 to s5ii, here are my initial thoughts
All points stand that’s why I went with Fuji xe5 with 23mm lens. Planning to get x100vi for extra stop of light, nd filters and flash. Size wise lighter than s9, that I had before. Picture quality is better - 40mpix does something magical where they look three dimensional straight out of film recipe

S9 Owners - Is it Good For Youtube Content Creation? Or is there Anything else that you like better?
If you call sony af terrible then it sounds more like a skill issue. Sony AF is still better than lumix, but they all have their own quirks. Also for Sony I'm pretty sure the ibis sucks but if you turn on dynamic or dynamic active which is their e stab mode it looks decent. S9 or any camera from any

Canon user to Lumix S9
I just bought an S9 to supplement my Canon R7, and while I haven’t done much testing yet I can say the ergonomics are awful (as you’d expect), the build quality lacking (especially the buttons and dials), and the thing isn’t that compact or light (feels like a brick), the autofocus is worse (though

Talk me out of switching to Fuji?
Picked up the LUMIX S9 recently and honestly, I really liked the form factor and how it looks. Autofocus was way better than I expected too (as i primarily shoot Sony). But… I just couldn’t click with the pictures. I also own the X100VI, and while it’s only APS-C, the Fuji film sims just have so muc

Some car shots from my lumix gh4:)
Thanks man, sadly im trying the camera, bought it with a "sensor dust" had it cleaned professionally wet, etc,my fault tho just was blinded by the good reviews of the person. Autofocus, bought it mainly for video expecting the camera to be decentish for photography (Autofocus wise) ,it a 40% chance t

Lumix L10 Preview (Micro Four Nerds)
I'd probably wait for a sale to stack on top of an EDU discount, but I'm with you. Something portable and photo-centric, but with improved AF and Lumix Lab / LUT support would be really interesting. The L10 is interesting, but it's not really a step in that direction. Its footprint is almost identic
