Nikon Z6 iii vs Nikon ZR vs panasonic S1 ii for travel videos?
Having used an s9 and S5iix for over a year and having switched now to a Nikon setup with ZR/Z8/ZF I can only say I am more happy with current gear BUT for your needs, an S9 it’s the best bang for the bucks you can have. Yes, crop on 4k60 it’s a pain in the arse but noting that will make you rip you

Flash for outdoor events: where should I start?
Godox and the Panasonic L-mount bodies may not be a great choice, like it is for everybody else: https://www.reddit.com/r/Lumix/comments/1egjpzb/godox_and_s5iix_is_a_bad_pairing/ There's apparently a lag on firing, and issues with TTL accuracy, as well as banding issues with HSS. Godox might work if you'r

Seeking MFT lenses with "Full Frame Look," reliable AF, and minimal focus breathing
I'll tell you why I want to switch, maybe you can understand me then.I want 4K 48-60 FPS recording for video with good AF and IBIS that doesn't overheat and doesn't break the bank. The problem: the S5IIx has a crop, and even when I record in 1080, the good AF is gone (the S9 have it!?). The A7IV ove

Please suggest me a recent dad/travel M43 camera with good JPEGs?
If Panasonic finally decides to release small body (GX9 or G90 successor) with PDAF and Real Time LUT that would suit your needs just perfect. For now, google says that only compatible bodies are G9 mk2, GH7 and bunch of full frames (S9, S5II, S5IIX, S1IIE, S1II, S1RII). From those S9 with grip migh

Give me good reasons NOT to buy the Lumix S5 II
V mount plate, cage, rails, V mount battery, storage media, a big gimbal that can accommodate 6kff's wide body & weight ( or maybe use gyroflow? That would add more steps in your flow I guess) I know 6K had pdaf upgrade but to get similar performance to Panasonic 's already not great focus tracking

🎥 Film emulation with S5 & S5ii
Thank you! :) Most of these videos were shot on Panasonic S5, only BMW scenes + eye shot in the beginning were shot on S5ii. However as I worked with S5ii a lot for the past few months side by side with my main S5 camera I can say that is for sure more sharp and overall i prefer image from S5 much m

Can anyone provide Lumix S1II H.265 & Prores RAW footage?
Nope, both the G9II and GH7 have PDAF and fine details don't suffer so much.Futhermore, the first firmware of the S5IIX never had these issues and yet the S5IIX has PDAF.It's only a choice of Panasonic and Nikon in order to look sharper and with less noise (because of the hidden detail filtering and
