"Lumix AF Isn't Good Enough for Sports/Action/Wildlife!" An Experiment. || Lumix S1RII + Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
Great video article and real pictures that back up your statement. I'd say this article is more valid than most affiliate so called gear reviewers out there who didn't even shoot any real events, maybe at best a couple hundred shots in the local park. To answer your question, I am not sure why that

S1II 60fps 14-bit RAW?
That’s just so wild. $300 more for literally double the speed with the S1II. And somehow Panasonic isn’t taken seriously for photography.

Switching to Lumix S1RII (or S1II) for professional photography?
Hi, first of all I'd like to point out that based on your description in your post you can't go wrong with either of these great 2nd generation LUMIX cameras. If I may I'd like to share with you why we chose the S1 II over the S1R II. We tested the S1R II for a couple of months side by side to the S

Lumix s1ii sports photos?
The Sony a6700 you are now using have a sensor readout speed of 25 ms (only 12-bit) vs the S1 II which is significantly faster at 11 ms. The a6700 shoots at a maximum of 11 frames per second (fps) while the S1 II shoots at 70 FPS with full AFC and blackout-free viewfinder. If you use the Sony at wor

The Sigma 300-600 f4 on the Lumix S1II was nothing near a disappointment.
I have not because the partially staked sensor in the S1II is meant for speed which makes it perfect for sports photography, whereas the S1RII is meant for a higher resolution. Now if Panasonic releases a model where the two bodies are merged to deliver speed at a higher resolution than we’ll be in

S1II dynamic range for photos.
One of the issues with the Z6III (I own 2 for professional work) is the e-shutter and mechanical shutter have the same DR. Typically the mechanical shutter will give you higher DR. You can see it tests about a stop less than it could. But while on paper there is a difference, in actual use I hardly

Lumix s1ii sports photos?
The S1 II smokes the a6700, the Sony doesn't have a stacked sensor its sensor is significantly slower, shooting maxes out at 11 FPS, no pre burst. The S1 II is vastly superior at everything mentioned above and much more. Furthermore the Sony a6700 features an APS-C format sensor, these cameras aren'

Lumix s1ii sports photos?
The more I look at this post it seems like a bait post by the OP. The a7IV isn't even comparable to the S1 II having a rolling shutter read out speed for photo at 67.63 ms! And maxes out at 10 FPS....these cameras aren't even comparable. The S1 II shoots at 70 FPS which is an increase of 600% The pa

is going from s5ii to the s1rii stupid or worth?
We upgraded to the S1 II late last summer after shooting with the S1R II for a couple of months. The S1R II is great too but the S1 II is a more versatile and faster camera that can handle everything. Lumix S1 II was chosen the Hybrid Pro Camera for 1) photo and 2) video of the Year 2025 by CineD Fo

Have we decided that the s1ii has usable compressed codecs?
The LUMIX S1 II no contest. Lumix S1 II was chosen the Hybrid Camera for photo and video of the Year 2025 by CineD For instance compared to the S1R II the S1 II is much more faster than the S1R II for our production needs. The only reason to get the S1R II is if you need those megapixels and fantasi
