Every Day Bludgeon (EDB)

Smallest micro four thirds body ever--the GM1 from 2013, size of a deck of cards--combined with one of the fastest-longest lenses on system, the Voigtlander f0.95 60mm. The lens is amazing. I actually use it on my GH7. P.S. Panasonic, please make another ultra compact MFT body!

Any Lumix Cameras Around $2000 That are Just as Good, If Not Better Than The Sony FX30?

Disclosure: I own the G9 II and shoot on GH7's and FX30's for work. I'm gonna have some bias towards the Panasonic offering so take this with a grain of salt. The G9 II is probably the closest you can get in the Lumix lineup at a cheaper price point. It's currently on sale at Amazon for 1.6k body on

Hope there will be future lens like Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8

No point for M43 to compete in areas where it's 100% losing out. Better to focus on it's strengths like portability and good enough image quality. As others have mentioned, once you factor in equivalence everything falls apart. Lenses like the 8-25 and 40-150 f4 are great examples that embody the M4

S5iix or GH7 for family/travel videos?

I don't have the GH7, but I've got an S5iix. While I do love the camera and I knew that L mount lenses weren't quite as available as some of the competition (Sony in particular), I do feel like the amount of lenses available and the price of them is at least a bit more detrimental than I thought. Th

Thinking of stepping in to the system, but what's with all the doom messages about m43.

This is my first system and I’ve been loving it over the past year and a half. It is a little stagnant lately, but with that said on the Panasonic side, they do have 2 incredibly powerful cameras at the top of the line. The G9ii (I have this) and the GH7 are incredible. The biggest gripe seems to be

UMP 12K is the best camera in the last 10 years…

Ahhhh now your comment makes alot more sense lol. I’m sorry for going at you like I did. Ya that’s a much more difficult situation for sure. I won’t lie, I used BMD and Panasonic cameras (I’ve owned everything else and this is where I landed) and I haven’t been disappointed. I do multicam setups wit

Tech Stack for Youtubers – My Current Budget Setup and Suggestions (I spent around 1,500 USD so far)

I've bought too much to list over the years. What I've kept is a good mirrorless camera with a fast f-stop lens. I recently did a review of the Boya magic microphone and I'm switching over to that from a rode wireless Go II. The noise cancellation is really good. It's not a perfect microphone lackin

S5D to G9II transition - decision struggle

You get the tool that you like to use, and that you want to pick up. If that’s MFT then it is. I faced same dilemma and went gh7 which is basically the g9ii and absolutely love it. Smaller lenses is so underrated, and you can get Leica lenses right from Panasonic. Get the tool that you want to take

We all are there sometimes... - Let's adress this (Marketing, Gear, FOMO etc.)

I'm at the crossover point where the lenses I want to buy for M43 are not worth buying when I can get a full frame higher resolution body with lenses for less. I think this is something people just don't talk about for some reason. I keep seeing people talking about how expensive full frame lenses a
