Oura might be sensing I was glutened
My Oura ring has done the same!! In the past, before they had the symptom radar feature, it would alert me with a low readiness score and say “was it something you ate?”. Now whenever I’m glutened, the new symptom radar feature gives me minor signs. It’s impressive how accurate it is!

The only reason?
She is such a moron. Early ovulation is literally just that. Any ovulation test would catch it if you used it when you were about to ovulate and LH is increasing (obviously there are exceptions with faulty tests or not following instructions). I have an oura ring and used that and natural cycles to

Soft launching pregnancy or nah?
LOL I’ve been waiting for this. My oura ring said the same with both pregnancies. First one I was oblivious and just thought I was a little under the weather. There are obvious signs that it picks up on! It’s pretty cool, but I have been so curious on when she’ll be pregnant.

can someone please tell me how im supposed to know when to rest and when to push through
Honestly? I bought an Oura ring for this reason. My therapist has been pushing me to rest and take time and not push myself into exhaustion. It was so hard and I couldn’t like “do it” and know when was too much. I’m a data person. So…. I got the Oura ring. It is like the thoughtful mother I never ha

Black Friday, small business Saturday, cyber Monday
I bought some things I’ve been keeping on my “want list” for a while. Basically I keep a note in my phone and every time I want something I write it down instead of buying right away. If I think about wanting this item again I go back and put an extra emoji on it so I know it’s something I’ve though

Is call as detrimental as night shift?
In my time in EMS I could NEVER get anything approaching decent sleep when I knew the tones could drop at any second, and my oura ring agrees. I personally prefer to just work nights and then have uninterrupted daytime sleep because the sleep quality is so much better even if duration is limited. Bu

Weird obsession with Rocky dying
Bells added to his collar is torture for dogs. Someone needs to @ her and let her know its super fucked up. And I'm supposed to believe in the middle of the night when they're sleeping they're going to be woken up by the sound of bells ringing as he's having a seizure???? There are actual collars th

I spent $100K on longevity protocols last year - here's why I'm still frustrated (and what I learned)
Did you read Outlive? Peter specifically talks about NOT doing what you’re doing. Exercise a ton, get good sleep, change your diet to get less saturated and enough protein, get on statins if the diet doesn’t decrease your apoB to below 60. If you have money to spend - get a n Oura ring to track slee

Rolled out $400/month wellness stipend, what people actually used it for
Very generous. We give $600 per year, direct reimbursement. I used mine for an Oura ring and subscription. I’ve seen people use it for health tech like that, Fitbit or Apple Watch, sports equipment like skis or bikes, gym memberships, massage etc.
