The “bag review” nerds love sh*tting on Osprey when they can. I watched a review on the Daylite 26+6 today and they said to “try these substitutes.” They were 2-3.5x the price! I don't get the marketed advantage of the clamshell design. I would go Osprey Farpoint 40 or Tortuga Travel Pro / Lite over this.

First off, a 70L isn’t carry-on size, so depending on the airline you may end up paying checked baggage fees. In Asia you’ll likely be flying AirAsia or similar budget airlines trust me, size and weight really matter with those. Second , that’s honestly a lot of stuff to haul around in 32°C heat , w
