I compared 50 carry on backpacks against Ryanair's sizer. About 52% of them fail including some of this sub's favorites

I thought the osprey 26+6 was the most recommended here tbh

A nice touch I noticed unboxing my Osprey 26+6

Lots of folks here talk about how excessive seems having 3 pen pockets on the Osprey 26+6 and/or how to modify/hack it to remove (at least) one pocket and gain more space for a passport or whatevs. Well, I just got my Osprey with only 2 pen pockets! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Osprey 26+6/IKEA Rensare appreciation post

Picture is an Osprey 26+6 (old style) with the IKEA Rensare packing cube set to show how well they fit together when not overpacked.

8 Day Cruise - 3L Packing List - Fanny Pack Only Travel

So this seems a tad extreme, especially for a cruise. Kudos if this works for you. A daypack or Osprey 26+6 might have afforded you a more comfortable journey.

Did a 9 day Europe trip on Osprey Daylite 26+6

To alleviate any concerns from potential purchasers of the Osprey Daylite 26+6 that this is a one-off, I used this pack for a winter trip to Spain and also had no issues with it on four RyanAir flights. While its 43H x 33W x 16D cm specs are slightly larger than Ryanair's revised 40H x 30W x 20D cm

The 26+6 Problem: Too Much Bag for Too Little Weight

Congrats on slimming down your packing list! I do summer travel in 16-20L and save the 26+6 for cool weather trips too. I got the Osprey day lite tote pack in the same colour as my 26+6. I like it despite not having the clamshell opening. I found a packing cube that fits perfectly and it works good.

For one bag sub everyone seems to have many, if you could only own one bag, which would it be?

Owning multiple bags is not the same as carrying multiple bags. Osprey 26+6 is the ideal bag in my opinion.

This subreddit changed my life + What I learned

The โ€œbag reviewโ€ nerds love sh*tting on Osprey when they can. I watched a review on the Daylite 26+6 today and they said to โ€œtry these substitutes.โ€ They were 2-3.5x the price! I actually needed a smaller bag than my Farpoint 40 and went with the Daylite 26+6 in black. Thereโ€™s probably a great $250

Does the bag Iโ€™m looking for even exist?

I have the Osprey 26+6, 5โ€™2โ€ senior. I added a hip belt and it works good on this pack. Iโ€™ve walked 5+ miles with it including a computer in it. I had a cobbler sew 1โ€ (or maybe it was 1.5โ€) webbing loops and then bought a detachable hip belt. Webbing from Amazon and hip belt from Black Ember DEX hi

Daylite 26+6: 3 day weekend trip

Osprey Daylite 26+6 packed for a 3 day trip to Arizona. Budget airlines and the Daylite 26+6 is a match made in heaven ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป. Plenty of room to spare, no need to expand the bag.
