If you rock a backpack, much does it usually weigh?
OneBagTravels on YouTube actually used packing peanuts to measure the volume of the Allpa 28L. He found that it was actually 33L (so more bang for your buck š). I really love watching his backpack reviews! I typically prefer 25-30L backpacks, which must have a sternum strap, for 1-2 week vacations.

First OneBag Trip to Asia with Osprey 26+6
Finding a good spot for my passport was really difficult for me. I wish there was something like a hidden compartment that the almond oak pack has. For the osprey 26+6 though, I might leave it in the laptop compartment but risk it getting bent by my laptop. I also plan to keep it in my daypack but I

Hot take: I did not like Daylite 26+6
As a petite with narrow shoulders. I have had trouble finding a backpack that I could hold 3-5 days worth of clothes in comfortably. & I've tried the Osprey 26 +6, the Osprey Fairview 40, the Tom Bihn Synik 30, & the foldie backpack. The one that worked? the Nomad Lane Bento Bag Backpack I just got.

26+6 but with better load carrying?
I feel like āthe load capacity relative to size of an Osprey 26+6ā and ācomfortable load carrying for long walking distancesā is one of those unicorn combinations I keep seeing people ask for on here but that unfortunately seems somewhat mutually exclusive. I would love to be proven wrong though, an

Is 40L with the intention to buy quite a bit of souvenirs enough for 3 months in Europe?
This is excellent advice. My first one bag trip was awful. My back killed me, my bag was way too large and hard to lug around a city. My teen and I learned our lesson and downsides to an Osprey 26+6

Hot take: I did not like Daylite 26+6
The Aer go pack 2 is 20L only, so that a significant capacity difference from the Osprey 26+6.Itās a small, simple but effective bag, and I like mine a lot, but you should be aware that it might not fit everything for a 7 days+ travel. Especially if you bring a laptop.

Osprey Daylite 26+6
I tried to post about the osprey 26+6 after my trip and the mods refuse it ..... It fit into the personnal item bin but you must NOT use the 6 liters extension.

The 26+6 Problem: Too Much Bag for Too Little Weight
It refers to the Osprey Daylight 26+6L. It's the most popular personal item (underseat)-sized backpack among onebaggers. Osprey claims it to be a 26L pack that can be expanded to 32L. In reality, it's closer to a 23L pack that can be expanded to 28L.

Depend on your airline. Some airlines will force you to put in the sizer. Some airlines doesnāt. Check online comment first. In order for my osprey 26+6 fit in the sizer of 6 inch thick, the bag needs to be under pack a lot. https://www.reddit.com/r/onebag/s/vSEgF5AhAP

DadBag / Personal Item Hybrid?
Take a look at the Cabin Zero 28 series bags. The Tech and Military versions have more features. The Osprey Daylite 26+6 will squeak by if you donāt over pack it.
