Wow this Osprey™ Daylite™ Expandable Travel Pack 26+6 looks so cool! Is it available at {{local retail location}} I'm sorry but the bag brand is so unnecessary it screams inauthentic ad content. A way to get redditors to do a web search for this pack and maybe buy it. I hate the modern internet.

If you rock a backpack, much does it usually weigh?

OneBagTravels on YouTube actually used packing peanuts to measure the volume of the Allpa 28L. He found that it was actually 33L (so more bang for your buck 😉). I really love watching his backpack reviews! I typically prefer 25-30L backpacks, which must have a sternum strap, for 1-2 week vacations.

Fully-packed Review and Comparison: REI Ruckpack 30L vs Cor Surf Island Hopper 28L

I agree, the REI seems to have better straps and more comfort. That Osprey looks solid. Honestly, I was really considering the Osprey Daylite 26+6 too, but I'm really not a fan of Osprey bags' appearance haha, it turns me away completely

JanSport Skip Pack Review

Why must companies like Patagonia and Jansport assault us with their giant branding? Such a turnoff. I refuse to buy a bag with huge logos. Even my Osprey 26+6 has a too-large-for-my-liking logo!😛

Bag Finder Megathread - 23 March 2026

Are there any alternatives to the Osprey 26+6? I would love to find a backpack that can either: -expand to be used as a daypack and carry-on (so anywhere between 20-40l) -is as as light as possible -fits all airlines specs for a carry-on when expanded or: -is the best carry non-expanding carry-on ba

Good backpack that counts as “personal item”

Thanks for the advice, I think the only thing putting me off slightly from the Osprey 26 + 6 is the rigid design lol it’s pretty square. What bag do you use?

Best 35L backpack?

Tortuga Expandable or Osprey Daylite 26+6 for half the price and weight but it’s also half as good looking and the material is half as thick.
