Osprey or Mystery Ranch for Starting out With Rucking
Start cheap, see if you even enjoy it. If you do, shop around for what's comfortable for you. That being said, I have been very happy with Osprey Aether 65L. I've used it on several 12 hour events that often involve rucking with 100# or more.

What bag to upgrade to?
I have the Osprey Aether 65L which i really like. It's a level below the atmos thus a little cheaper but doesn't have the squeaky straps that the Rook has. Believe me the straps are noisy, I've seen and heard (from a distance) just how bad they are. Have you thought about a smaller ultralight bag in
