Aether 65L

Start cheap, see if you even enjoy it. If you do, shop around for what's comfortable for you. That being said, I have been very happy with Osprey Aether 65L. I've used it on several 12 hour events that often involve rucking with 100# or more.

I'm more of a traveller than a hiker, but I did work in outdoor gear for quite a few years. If you are set on an Osprey, the Aether 65L (a little larger than you wanted) might work for you. I don't know how well it handles mountaineering but this thread has a bit of info on it.
