OM1 ii and OM3 are probably the best when using C-AF with subject detection. I upgraded from the em5 iii (basically the same AF as the em1 ii) to the OM3 and I'm getting way more keepers. Take a look at the E-M1 II or E-M5 II. The E-M5 would be more compact than the GH3. The E-M1 would have significantly better AF. Both would have more modern features such as better lowlight performance as well.

Hey I have an OM3 and it was my first camera in the MFT ecosystem. Paired it with the excellent 12-40 f2.8 for really good weather sealing. I've been out in really heavy snow storms in Canada and Scandinavian rain without issues. Added the 40-150 f2.8 for action and now I'm looking at the 60mm macro

Your setup is weather sealed, you should be fine. Just keep the lens on at all times unless in a controlled environment or clear weather.
