Senior Vice President Tazuhiro Togashi and Director of Product Planning Hiroki Koyama Not exactly "OM Reps". That suggests some low grade Marketoid. These "dudes" are "nosebleeder" - called that because they are so high up in the company, the thin air up there could cause nosebleeds. So these statem

Right, as a fellow Sony 20-70 f/4 owner and M43 shooter, let me share my thoughts… I own the Sony A7C (so, a step up from your A7II) along with the 20-70 f/4, plus a few other lenses. I also have an OM-5 paired with the 12-45 f/4 Pro. When I bought the Sony 20-70 f/4, my intention was to replace the

I have spent a bit of time (probably more than I should) hunting for the 'perfect' camera. Small size with lenses, and high quality. After trying the fujis, apsc, I have ended up with my OM-5 and I truly think it is the best option out there at that functionality and price point. Even if the bodies

Micro 4/3 system. OM Systems (formerly Olympus) OM-5. Or the older Olympus OM-D E-M5 mark III. Paired with 14-42mm pancake zoom (28-84mm equivalent). Small, lightweight, good looking camera, great out of camera jpegs, RAW option.

+1 for m4/3 cameras. The OM System OM-5 Mk I or II will be perfect. Light, excellent weather sealing, and will produce professional grade photos if you use it right. Don't let anyone tell you different. I print 30x40 landscape prints off the older 16MP EM-5 II, and the OM-5s have a newer 20MP sensor

No, it's not hard to stick with m43, but it's definitely hard to continue to upgrade bodies when the cost for new OM System cameras is comparable to or higher than many great FF mirrorless cameras from a host of other companies. For the cost of a used OM-3 I opted for a used Sony A7C with a 120 shut

I charge outside the camera, but I understand the common cord benefits. It was an overdue upgrade. Don't let this crop factor thing get complicated: For exposure, all lenses are the same: f-whatever at ISO whatever at shutter speed whatever is the same on any lens on any system. An MFT lens (as you
