Which vpn do you use? I have Nord and it still won’t let me watch blacked out games.

I had the same thing with yt Premium and my VPN on/off. I use Nord and whilst on vaccation in Portugal i could not use YouTube on SOME videos. The F1 Race Recap showed me this message. I had to stream to a tv to be able to watch it.

Currently fighting with NordVPN and the MLB android app/browser site. Seems they've done some work to make using a VPN with a MLB.tv+ account harder this year.

I did the same thing, using Google TV Streamer. Nord worked fine last year but can not get the VPN work-around to work this year. I think the MLB app has gotten a lot smarter.

I've been using NordVPN and a firestick and it's been unwatchable too.

No luck here in Chicago. Can't get NordVPN to work with the MLB app nor ESPN app to watch my Cubbies :( Last year was no problem at all on any device.

It's gotten really locked down this (2026) season. It's a strong game of whack-a-mole with servers.
