New Nook GlowLight 4 Color Incoming - Ocean Teal
They make it so hard to be ride or die for Nook. I have only ever had Nook and owned the very first one way back when. I know they said in 2026 we can expect the Glow Light 5 or whatever it's going to be, but tough to get excited about the same ereader that has been available for a long time and it'

New devices confirmed for 2026
I’ve always loved Barnes & Noble and have owned almost every version of nook they’ve ever released. I would normally be very excited about this announcement. But if they don’t fix the software “problem” with the fonts I won’t be buying any more nooks. I have vision loss and haven’t been able to use

8inch + reader recommendation for manga
Probably a meebook m8 is your best choice. If you're ok with a slower screen the Nook Glow Light 4 Plus becomes an option.

Nook vs Kobo for academics
I have a Glowlight 4 and a Clara Colour. This is my 3rd and final Nook. The hardware is nice, the software is awful. If you want color highlighting, that won’t be an option since there is no color model. It also doesn’t have a dark mode (inverted to white font on black background) which Kindle intro

General eReader Advice
Nook makes nice hardware. Having page turning buttons is nice. Screen quality on the Glowlight 4 Plus that I have is nice. The adjustable front lighting has been nice. After that is where Nook goes downhill as an e-ink reader. Their software is ANTIQUATED. You will not experience epubs like Apple Bo

new nook glowlight case!
I read a review for this cover under the Lenovo tablet, not the Nook GlowLight 4 Plus, stating that the colors in real life are not as vibrant as pictured. https://imgur.com/a/yUf9h6h

Is it still worth it to get a Nook Glowlight 4 Teal in 2026?
If you like reading in night mode, you’ll be disappointed. I have the previous “limited edition” Glowlight 4 (the pink and white one) and rarely use it because of its lack of night mode. What they call “dark mode” is what others call warm light. Aside from that reading on it is fine (but yes a littl

Would you buy a Nook? Why or why not?
Those are the ones I’m looking at. I really prefer the smaller size of the GlowLight 4, but I’m not sure I’d be locking into a single ecosystem. I get “ebooks” and journals from various sources that are just PDFs and I don’t know how well these would load and view on the Nook. I’m also having troubl

My nook color
I still have my Nook Glowlight, and my Nook Tablet (2012), as well as my Nook Glowlight 3. They pissed a lot of their users off with all of these new Nooks, and then shutting them out of the shop to save money…That was foolishness. They moved onto like 3 different brands for their tablets, and makin

Need help with my nook.
I was able to download and read it with no problem on the Lenovo 9" NOOK Tablet. However, on my GlowLight 4 Plus, I experienced the same issue as you with the black screen.
