i've tried both honestly. the clatina mellet is decent for the price but the seat cushion flattens after a few months. the razer iskur v2 has way better lumbar but runs hot. for multi-hour sessions i'd actually point you toward the secretlab titan evo - the cold cure foam holds up for 8+ hours easy.

Im soon on year 7 with Noblechairs Hero and its been great. Holding up very good even tho i very much regret buying their faux leather since its not at all like real leather. Its cold in the winter and sweaty in the summer. It is strong tho but wish i had gone for either real leather or cloth.

Seat height should put his hips a little higher than his knees so his legs don’t go numb... it really makes a difference for long sessions. Bro I went through the exact same thing. Everyone online acts like those office chairs are the holy grail but if your body just does not vibe with firm structured seating, no amount of adjustment wheels will fix that. I ended up with a Noblechairs Hero and it actually feels like sitting in something
