Yes preowned games the switch 2 is programwd to be a LOT stricter. If someone copies a real game onto a fake card then sells the real game off, if nintendo finds out you two are playing the same copy of the game at the same time it flags for piracy and will brick both of your switches.

Unless the Switch 2 has full read/write capability, there's not really anything they can do to kill a physical copy And I think selling a console that has the ability to wipe physical games into blank cards would be a step too far even for Nintendo fans lol
