Mondfinsternis am Rheinturm [OC]

Danke dir!

Nikon Z6iii vs Nikon D850 vs Nikon D780 for Military Use

I understand. I just upgraded to the Z6iii from a D800. I compared the D850 and rented it but decided to go with the z6iii. The D850 is still a great camera but it’s old technology that is getting older by the day. The image processor on the z6iii is 2 generations newer than the D850. It has higher

Happily ditched ZF for the Z5II

I agree that some of these critiques are pretty legitimate, others, to be honest, seem like a mismatch between how the camera is controlled and what you expected. The sensor? Basically identical to my old Z6, so a damn good one. There haven't been any real improvements in image quality in recent yea

Looking for a Fuji “fun camera” – X-T30 III vs X-M5 vs X-Pro2?

X-Pro2. Hands down. The X-T30III is a great camera, and the X-M5 is a nice little body, and both are technically better than the X-Pro2 on pretty much every aspect besides build quality. But if what you want is fun? Well, the X-Pro2 is the most fun I've had with a camera period. And I'm a camera hoa

Having issues with IR photography on Z6-II

I have an original Z6 along with a full-spectrum converted Z5 for IR photography. To convert it to full spectrum, they removed the hot mirror in front of the sensor. The difference in IR sensitivity between the two cameras is huge. If you haven't had the camera full spectrum converted, there is no w

Z8 vs Z6III

I have both of these cameras. Here are my observations (assuming you shoot RAW): For birds, planes, and generally small far-away things, even with the 180-600, I love having the extra resolution the Z8 gives. The Z6 III does not (yet) have a dedicated bird detect mode, but that is coming this year:

Should I upgrade from Nikon D750 to a Z series?

You already said you don't need to, so don't. Based on IQ, you won't notice a worthwhile difference with a Z6/Z6ii in daylight (BSI/higher native iso helps for low light a lot though.. Z6/Z6II are Nikon's best "low light" cameras ever, with Zf close). To me, a worthwhile (cheapest) upgrade begins wi

Looking left to Full frame & Looking right to M43 for wildlife

I was looking at the same kind of comparison, m43 vs full frame Nikon, and in the end I went full frame. while the body was marginally more expensive, the m43 lenses were not necessarily cheaper, and so its basically a compromise on physics for marginally lighter kit. compare to the z5ii the om-1 mi

First attempt at motorsport photography with old, borrowed gear. I had a blast!

Well, newer camera bodies can have newer sensors and processing and as such can have better noise performance at high ISOs. I don't know if you are looking for a specific brand or something, but some things to consider if you want to go mirrorless anyway:- Canon hasn't really opened up their lensmou

Debating between ZR and Z6 III for Family Needs

Hybrid camera with great photo & video capabilities - Nikon Z6 III • Compact Full-Frame camera designed with videography in mind (which results in a number of compromises in terms of stills photography) - Nikon ZR I would definitely suggest purchasing the Z6 III.
