Now is the time to hold Nikon accountable for the third party lens situation
You can vote with your wallet. I owed solely Nikon cameras my whole life and enjoyed every single one of them, but i only can choose between the (overpriced) nikon 1st party lenses and a few Tamron lenses that don't overlap the focal lengths of the Nikon lenses, I'm switching to Sony or another comp

What's wrong with those "for m43 guys"?
besides MFT, I shoot APS-C Fuji and Full Frame Nikon. The reason is that I had a shit ton of vintage F mount lenses, added some AF F mount lenses as well when I was shooting with DSLRs, and I actually kept my old D700. I added the Z6 to have a camera to use both my F mount lenses with (AF or not), a

What is a decent bugdet camera+lens to get for bird photography for an amateur?
For amateur birding, I've got an OM-D E-M1 Mk II with the 75-300 II (and the 60mm macro for smaller critters handheld macros without a tripod are pure bliss). Before, I was a compulsive buyer: Nikon FF, Z-mount, Canon... tested and sold it all. Since switching to Olympus, no urge to change, lightweig

Is Nikon Z50 II better than Canon R50 bundle for a beginner?
I’m a Z6 shooter seriously considering a Nikon crop in either the Z30 or Z50. Why? Use case - long hikes in the mountains, meaning minimal weight and I want to still choose from my suite of lenses.

Cropped or full frame?
The difference IMHO is overblown for all but professionals, your skill, luck, good lighting and good lenses will be more important than sensor size. The potential niggle could be astro, but I haven't found any critical issues with noise on my Z50 (same sensor as Z50ii) that makes me want to rush out

Daily Carry Camera Looking for some advice from the community here! I’m by no means a professional photographer. It’s just a hobby which who knows, maybe I’ll eventually trying selling some prints. Having said that, I’m looking to get a small daily carry camera, as I feel my current kit is rather la

Beginning with Z6
What kind of lenses are these? They look like they are pretty old, so there is a decent chance that these are manual focus only. I don't know if there were other systems like it but old nikon lenses with autofocus used to rely on a AF motor that was built into the camera body. If they are designed f

What camera should I buy?
16-85 and although it’s not the best lens for it So, the 16-85 probably is the best (or at least one of the best) middle zoom lens for a D5100. The 16-80 f/2.8-4E, 17-55 f/2.8G, and 16-85 f/3.5-5.6G are generally considered the three sharpest and best performing mid zooms made by Nikon for F mount D

Imagine Recipe on NX Studio
Unfortunaltely, my Nikon Z6 is not compatible with Image Recipes, but here is what I found: Sync your camera to the cloud and download recipes. Shoot a test RAW image using that recipe. Open that RAW file in NX Studio. Tweak some sliders ever so slightly (Sharpness, or something) In the Picture Cont
