Tamron 35-150mm f/2–2.8 for everyday and travel?
Tl;dr: Tamron 35-150mm f/2–2.8 as a one kind of a lens – everyday and travel, or nah-nah?
I currently use a Nikon Z50 with a not-so-ideal mix of lenses: the kit Z 16-50mm, the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 G2, the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2, and the Sigma 150-600mm (both via FTZ). I picked up the full-fram

Some astrophotography with the Z50
Thought I'd post these astrophotography images of the neighbouring Andromeda galaxy and the slowly departing bright comet Tsuchinshan Atlas I captured recently.
These were both captured using a basic startracker and the Nikon Z50.
The optics were a 440mm focal length doublet refractor telescope fo

Which camera should I pick for my first camera?
Hi guys. I’ve been jumping around the bush for months deciding which camera should I choose for my first camera between fujifilm xm5 and Nikon z50 ii.
I am new to camera, but I have some basic understanding of camera.
My goal is to use it for 50% photography and 50% videography. I am not planning

My first night shots with my Z50
Enjoyed my second photography for beginners class last night, and although it was dark we picked up some great long exposure shots of the waterfall at a canal basin. Second time ever using my new digital camera (Nikon Z50) instead of my Phone and so far I'm enjoying it.
My shots aren't too bad, I d

An unexpected spectacle over Tromsø- Nikon Z50 and 35mm f/1.8 S
The northern lights caught me off guard the other day, as I wasn’t carrying my tripod and there was some light pollution. Anyways, it was an amazing first-time experience!

Zoom - what to expect?
Beginner here, my apologies for not even knowing what to ask, but here goes...
Is there a way to tell how much optical zoom (x-times) I'd get out of the larger (50-250mm) lens from the Nikon Z50 II two lens kit?

Would an upgrade from a D200 be worth it? I’m only a casual photographer and the shutter count on my camera is low. I’d only like to buy used.
If you need to shoot in low light at all, then yes upgrading is worth it. The D200 has a limit of iso range of 100 to 1600, expandable to 3200, that is only 6 stops of ISO. A Nikon Z50 has a range of 100 to 51,200, expandable to Hi 2 204,800), 12 stop of range, and the Nikon D500 has an impressive H
