Weather was terrible where i live and only got a short window to capture the eclipse. Wasnt able to get totallity, but think i got a decent composite. Processed the data in photoshop.

The northern lights caught me off guard the other day, as I wasn’t carrying my tripod and there was some light pollution. Anyways, it was an amazing first-time experience!

Is there a way to tell how much optical zoom (x-times) I'd get out of the larger (50-250mm) lens from the Nikon Z50 II two lens kit?

If you need to shoot in low light at all, then yes upgrading is worth it. The D200 has a limit of iso range of 100 to 1600, expandable to 3200, that is only 6 stops of ISO. A Nikon Z50 has a range of 100 to 51,200, expandable to Hi 2 204,800), 12 stop of range, and the Nikon D500 has an impressive H
