Mirrorless equivalent of D7500?
People are going to say Z50ii, but it's a side-grade. You're going to get similar image quality and AF performance in a smaller body with better video, but the end result is the same. Sometimes a slightly smaller package is all it takes to encourage you to use your camera more, but you're pretty muc

Looking left to Full frame & Looking right to M43 for wildlife
I have both, although the OM1 is mk I. Not for wildlife but anything else. Bought the Z5 II for indoor shoots with bad light. Use the OM1 almost exclusively. It is faster, feels better, ergonomics are better, more buttons. Don’t mention smaller lenses. And I am saying this as an old Nikon user (FM,

Back to a DSLR after 15 years and couldn't be happier already.
I’ve owned that one camera since 2015 and still love it. I started buying refurbished lightweight primes from Nikon last year so I could stop carrying the heavy zooms and am very happy carrying less. I bought my son a Z6 III. He let me borrow it for a few days and it just didn’t inspire. I have also

Because Apple has built a lot of their processing directly into the image pipeline, not even the RAW photos are spared from their very aggress

I have a Z50 camera
I have the same camera and was thinking about the tamron 50-300 with etz adapter. Kit Nikon DX 50-250 might also be an option, but in my experience i

Exposure Compensation?
It would help to know what body you're working with. I have a Z9, Z6i and recently just got a Z5ii. I shoot in full manual 95% of the time. I have been able to judge exposure really well using the EVF's, LiveView, and light meter on the Z6 and Z9. However, the viewfinder/monitor on the new Z5ii is a

Nikon d780 or z6iii?
Nikon has a helpful article comparing the Z5ii, Z6iii and D780: https://www.nikon.co.uk/en_GB/learn-and-explore/magazine/gear/the-nikon-z5ii-compared-to-the-z5-z6iii-z8-d780-and-d850 I love my D780 but the Z6iii is a far superior camera. I chose it over the Z5ii for the reasons StarbeamII gave.
