The Z7 is older than the Z6ii. It's a downgrade, not an upgrade. OP asked for an upgrade. Even if the Z7 was a viable contender, it would be the Z7ii, which would be a lateral move in all features except for megapixels, which if that's the driving factor, then maybe the Z7ii is worth considering. Z6III is a more modern and more capable camera for basically the same cost. Make sure you are not buying something that doesn't match your use case.
