Seeing this BS at such price makes me happy to go with UI.

It is very infuriating. These sell more than Ubiquiti too because the average joe hasn’t even heard of Unifi and netgear sells in all big box retailers in every country. So average joes just walk into the store and pick this shit up. Thinking they’re cool for solving their wifi problem in the al fre

This brand is honestly a total letdown. The quality is absolute garbage. I hope nobody ever buys from you again. You're going to fail sooner or later

One of the main attack vectors of your home network is the router so the lack of updates, buggy updates, rollbacks and deafening silence does not instil confidence. If the orbi systems were a couple of hundred quid then maybe they'd get some slack, but these things cost over a thousand pounds and th

Used Netgear for the past 15 years, so happy I made the switch!

Cost vs Control for me. I’m an old Firewall guy and I hate that I have no real control with Orbi Mesh (RBR50/RBS50). The one thing I did to make me feel a little better is that I assigned all my devices specific IP addresses and turned on Access Control, blocking all new connections. I can’t speak f

I’d just like a moment to appreciate netgear

They have their issues and push Netgear armor way too much but when they do push a firmware that’s stable, it does work fairly well. I use Orbi systems from them and the previous system I had, RBKE963, was great when I first got it but firmware updates made it worse and worse, forcing me to use olde

Router help

If your Orbi is hitting End of Life (EOL) soon, security updates will stop, which is likely why your score is tanking. Honestly, I’m not a fan of Netgear Armor; it’s basically just a rebranded Bitdefender subscription that keeps asking for more money. The Nighthawk BE6500 is a powerhouse, but unless

What’s the best overall WiFi router for home use these days?

Nothing Netgear! Never had more issues with multiple Netgear products, refuse to purchase anymore. Always drops connection, doesn't know how to self recover, annoyed I spent so much on the Orbi, and now I'm stuck with it.

Plz recommend between Orbi 870, 970 or Eero Max 7

I was in a similar situation when I wanted to upgrade to WiFi 7 after having Orbi RBR753. Bought an Orbi 871 and it was a nightmare. I didn’t believe the reviews but it was a nightmare that I ended up returning to Amazon. There was no way I was going to spend hours trouble shooting and collecting lo

Truly Maddening: RBR50 End of life. What Next?

F Netgear and Orbi. I dumped them a few years ago and went with eero. Great experience and no regrets. Amazon usually has a 3 pack on sale. Suggest you wait for Memorial Day and see what’s on sale.

Help: Compatible Wi-Fi Extender for Airtel Black AirFiber Router?

Make a service request for enabling bridge mode. Then use an external mesh system if the budget allows. Use PPOE to connect from Mesh router to Gpon router of Airtel. I have Orbi Netgear Mesh but I guess next time I might go to Tplink Mesh. A good Mesh will cost a lot and is an investment .

What is the point?

I have a question for you: Do you like your Google mesh system? I had a Netgear Orbi, and it was terrible and not worth the $600. I am an Android user, and love smart lights and my Sonos system all controlled by Google Home.
