I did a bunch of searching before I ended up with my nighthawk RAX30, my brother in law is also tech savvy and most of the complaints I read about he confirmed. My nighthawk is at my ex-wives place, I now live with my sister and brother in law and we use his nighthawk RAXE500, their house is a large

My router is the netgear nighthawk raxe500 and currently my modem/ is an older/repurposed netgear nighthawk c7800 cable modem/router combo with NAT disabled. When I had spectrum previously I didn’t use their modem just my c7800 as a modem and a router. When I upgraded to fiber, I also upgraded to wi

RS300 is a good choice. Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500 also has your specs and has great range (and might be cheaper).

How big is the house? A mesh system with wifi 7 will help with wireless backhaul because of its ability to do MLO. But these are not mid-range budget. We're talking about Netgear Orbi 970 series or TP-Link Deco BE85, etc.. If your home isn't huge you might be better off with a centrally located stan

I got rid of the frontier provided Eeros and got the Nighthawk Raxe500 and best decision I made, better wifi all around and option to choose which band I use.

I had an RAXE500 and returned it. Ipv6 didn't work with my broadband provider in the UK. It also lacked settings and only has one 2.5gb for the WAN. I now have the BE98 which is the next model up from the BE96. It has two 10gb network ports, 4x 2.5gb and a spare 1gb port. This thing will handle up 1

You might be able to get by with something like a NETGEAR Nighthawk RAXE500 standalone router if it was on the main floor. Has a 2.5Gbps WAN port, amazing range and supports wifi 6e. To get the highest speeds though you'll need to be fairly close to the router while using the 6Ghz band. The folks at

I feel stupid but I just flushed my DNS cache and it seems to have helped. Doesn't really explain other browsers but maybe I had some change?... Thanks for the reply! We have a Nighthawk RAXE500. Years ago, when we got the router, I tried to set the uverse gateway to bridge mode but I (with tech sup

I mean it should but it depends on the specifics of your house. Note that if you Google around the Hitron Code56 has its detractors. It's based on the Puma 7 chipset which is an improvement over Puma 6 but folks still mention overheating and rebooting issues. Unless you really need wifi 7 support (w
