Yep. That's the one. The Shockwafe 9.2.4 eARC. This thing is a monster. It demolished the Samsung. I had this discussion on another thread here with a hardcore Samsung fanatic who brought up the Rtings reviews saying that overall the best soundbar was the Samsung but was very unhappy when I pointed

I replaced my almost $5k 5.1 system in my theater with a Nakamichi shockwafe wireless 11.2.6 and I am more than happy. You just haven’t experienced a good sound bar

Just think about this. The Samsung is literally on the same level of sound quality. I had the full Sonos arc ultra in my living room for 5 weeks before I ended up buying the 990f and then I returned the 990f and exchanged for the 990D. The Sonos honestly isn’t even worth it for only a few hundred mo

I have both systems and the Quads have the edge imo. The Arc Ultra has era300s and 2 subs so obviously the bass is better but the Quads separation makes the system sound incredible and I don’t know how Sony does it but it does sound like there are speakers in spots where there are none. Either way t

Ever think there’s a reason why Nakamichi has dropped so much over the last 2 months? Because people are returning them left and right and the people who claim they are the best are just fanboys that can’t stand when people hate it. Sonos quality sound and the Sony Quads are better in every way. If

I would agree that the newer mk2 would be better and it’s got tons of power and to be honest I’m sick of recommending the Samsung just because of its price. I think they sound okay and although I’ve never heard the 990F, I’ve heard the 990D and the bass was fairly strong but boomy and the sound qual

Samsung 990 is highly rated and best bang for the buck. Nakamichi Dragon is good but on the higher end. Sony Quads aren’t actually a bar but set up like one. You have to pay extra for a sub but it gets great reviews. There’s a review of the new Nakamich Shockwafe on YouTube from NeverEnoughTech and

● Watched the Jeff Buckley doc last night. It was pretty decent, but the highlight for sure was all the live footage. It was too stylized, the cartoony stuff was not a good fit IMO, but it did a good job of showing his character. I feel like I understand him fairly well. After watching, the ambiguit
