Is Mullvad the best VPN in terms of privacy?

I saw a post about Mullvad’s potential data leak here on Reddit. I used to be a fan and never had any issues myself, but their silence after a privacy-related incident ticked me off. I even contacted their support and they did not acknowledge the issue. Their response was not satisfactory at all. I

Future for our Generations is EU

You can't seriously be this naive. Chat control isn't (just) about "protecting the children". Politicians use slogans like that to implement (mass) surveillance policies. They can't just say: "Hey, we want to be able to read everything you text!" That would never fly, so they have to come up with so

I compared/tested Proton with the 3 other best VPN's I could think of. Despite a few issues, Proton is definitely a much better service

Eh? Does Proton have DAITA? Mullvad does. Why would someone want to use Wireguard over TCP, unless stupid ISP is blocking UDP?

Connected to Mullvad’s US exit — DNS resolver WHOIS says “Tiger Media,” not Mullvad. Can anyone explain this?

An entity with no public hosting or telecom footprint is the registered holder of the /24 carrying Mullvad’s US DNS resolver, and nothing in public documentation explains who they are or why they hold it. Is that not worrying?

I tracked mulvad use with Find My IP for a week

That really pissed me off. I'd been using duckduckgo's free app tracking protection for a year and change, before hopping on the niche bandwagon that is Mullvad. It works, it does its job, and it's cheaper than every VPN I see ads for. I never saw an ad for Mullvad, and after reading their website I

"Degoogling" progress V5 (and yes i listened to everyones feedback)

The supported party also wants to increase state surveillance, which would seemingly undermine any privacy Mullvad provides as well.

Bahnhof avslöjar: Upphovsmaffian i hemlig överenskommelse med internetoperatörer om censur - Bahnhof

Räcker det i teorin med VPN (kör Mullvad), tror denna drar trafik genom en DNS ändå va?
