The market for 27" 1440p IPS monitors is so awkward
1440p 27” is literally one of the most saturated options Op is smoking something crazy like there are so many good options to choose from Gigabyte M27q Rev2 (using this now flanking my OLED C1 , it’s great and cheap) MSI Mag274qrf , another great option LG 27GP850 , one of the most popular AOC AG274...
Are MSI Monitors good?
I have the MAG271QPX 1440p 27” 360hz OLED and MAG274QRF 1440p 27” 165hz IPS Both are incredibly good. If you’re not going OLED go with IPS. For some reason I forgot, VA panels just looks so washed to me when I switched to IPS i was blown away with the color contrast (though subjective na ang IPS ble...
How is this image so bright?
HDR support in monitors can be quite fake. A "true" HDR monitor really needs to have some form of light system capable of producing different amounts of light in different areas. IMO it really needs to be OLED, but a good MiniLED is quite acceptable. (There are also other factors, such as light inte...
Now i see the difference between OLED and my old ips screen, crazy.
I have three monitors: a 250-nit MSI G241, a 300-nit MSI MAG274QRF-QD, and a 250-nit MSI MAG271QPX E2. At maximum brightness, the MAG274QRF was noticeably brighter than the other displays, with the regular IPS G241 also clearly brighter than the OLED. For my daily use in a room with a large window (...
1440p 200hz Monitor?
MSI MAG274QRF QD E2 - It's a 27'' IPS 1440p Monitor with 180Hz refresh rate. I have been using it for about a year and it's really good.
Is the Xiaomi Gpro 27i the Best non oled monitor under £300
It's "Good" if you have access to Xiaomi Service center, I used to have one and it died after 4 months of use but fortunately where I live I have easy access to Xiaomi Service center and RMA within 2 weeks, this monitor can't handle a slight mishandle or even screen shake - There's no way to update ...
Issue with monitor sleep and wake
Are you referring to it seemingly switching to a very low resolution? If so, I've seen this as well. It seems pretty inconsistent though. It only occasionally happens when re-activating the monitors after they've turned off automatically due to inactivity, and in my experience, turning off the monit...
Samsung adopts matte coating for all 2025 displays.
My MSI MAG274QRF-QD has a different coating than the one LG uses. It looks a bit less "glossy", but the LG coating is actually more grainy. So I'd argue that LG's coating is worse than the usual "cheap IPS display" coating.
2k or fhd monitor
I have an MSI MAG274QRF QD 1440p monitor that accepts a 4k signal hooked to my pro. It has built in VRR so it looks really smooth while playing too.
