As soon as I saw the measurements of the E16M along with bugs I knew they messed up the firmware really badly. I think the rest of their monitors have solid OSD without much bugs but I have a limited experience with MSI monitors as the last time I purchased the MAG274QRF QD E2 I had to send about 5

Can confirm. Got 2 of these in december 2024 - this month both of them started dying. One would end up flickering and having weird backlight "artifacts" appear for some time after turning pc on and other one had black lines. Sent both of them back to MSI. I'm losing more and more faith in msi monito

that really is unfortunate, i would recommend making a rma claim with msi if your unit is still under warranty as mine had a 3 years coverage might vary as per region as i heard some places it was just 2 instead. so if that's the case and you are out of warranty the only way i have heard of is to re

My Optix MAG274QRF-QD started having backlight issues. Now the left side is eternally dimmed. What a crappy company. I'm never buying from them again.

I just had an 18 month old MAG 274QRF QD E2 with the exact same issue. I noticed it first at 60hz (for playing JR East Train Sim) but it was fine at 180hz. Then a few weeks later it started to do it at 180hz too. Went back to MSI, who said the panel is at fault, but they couldn't get a replacement a

dont be fooled. they got quality issues. i bought A MSI 1440P 27'' IPS 180hz monitor and it died after 1 year, brand new. specifically it had the artifacting issue which many on social have posted about. Specifically the MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 so no, i don't trust msi quality for their monitors. No id

yeah the MAG274QRF-QD does that, usually within the 3 year warranty that MSI provide in most countries.

Hey Andrew, the backlight has stopped working on my MAG274QRF-QD as well, right around the 4-year mark. Warranty has expired. I registered the monitor the day I got it. Is there anything you or MSI can do to help me out. I'm willing to pay or meet halfway on the cost or repair if so.

Yeah this seems to be a pattern as my MAG274QRF-QD is having the exact same backlight issues just outside the warranty period
