MSI MPG 321URX is a great monitor and is on the cheaper side of OLEDs. It's 32" 4K 240HZ HDMI 2.1 with VRR.

I recently bought the msi 321urx and it’s flawless. It’s a bit more expensive though. The msi 321UPXB is a similar panel but it’s going for around $200 less than the 321

I have an RTX 5090 and it seems like the older NVIDIA driver was incompatible when I first hooked it up in 5k mode. Well, that jump is pretty huge. Your AOC is already solid, but the MSI MPG 321URX is OLED so you’re getting way better contrast, true blacks, and crazy response times. For gaming, this is more or less the best you can get in terms of performance with a 4K OLED monitor. You could get the 9950X3D also but that won't net him much benefits except for in a few specific games or if he does other productivity workloads with his PC (e.g. video editing). PCPartPicker Part
