Game will look better sharpness wise, but textures and volumetrics will obviously suffer if you’re going down to low/medium compared to high/ultra. I’d personally go for 1440p, as you’ll be able to push higher refresh rates. If you’re still wanting that bigger screen, ultrawide is another good optio

Msi mpg 341cqpx. It’s the newer version with 240hz. I’ve been very happy with it. Has all of the nice to haves like usb c power delivery, kvm switch etc. I thought about it a long time and looked at all the comparable ones before I settled on it. No regrets besides wondering on occasion about 4K but

Yes man that 21:9 aspect ratio will make your games look really cinematic. Im running OLED 34” alienware aw3423dwf 160hz. Bought the monitor like late 2024. Currently if you are aiming for one i would recommend the msi mpg 341cqpx 240hz qd oled.

With a 3440x1440p monitor, you will want a more powerful GPU than a 9060 XT - it's not a great GPU for 1440p. See these Techpowerup gaming benchmarks - at 1440p, you'll only average around 70 fps, which makes the 240hz refresh rate on an even more graphically demanding ultrawide 1440p kind of pointl

I bought the 34WP75C-B a month ago, but it had that issue, so I returned it. Then, I bought the Dell S3425DW. The black ghosting was much less noticeable than on the LG, but I returned it a week ago—120Hz wasn't enough. Now, I'm waiting for the MSI MAG 341CQP to go on sale for $599 at Costco again.
