Steamdeck alternative for current AAA games

The Deck runs a four-core Zen 2 CPU. The Go S has two SKUs, the Z2 Go has a four-core Zen 3+ CPU whereas the Z1 Extreme variant has an eight-core Zen 4, so it's already far better than the Deck. You could also get some of the alternate Z1 Extreme devices, such as the Legion Go, ROG Ally, or the ROG

Is the Steam Deck OLED Worth Getting This Late in the Game?

I bought one recently and I'd say so. The thing is that while more powerful devices are coming out the performance ceiling for these things is still very low. At least in comparison to consoles and even full desktop PCs when you get to the more expensive ones like the ROG Ally X and the latest model

Honestly I think the 7 ai was quickly forgotten

Funny thing is the MSI Claw 7 AI+ hasn't even been released here in Australia and won't be until the 30th of July, and it's going to cost $1679 AUD, while the MSI Claw A8 doesn't release until the 1st of September and will be $1749 AUD. Surely no one is buying the MSI Claw 7 AI+ here.

Anyone still think Lego 2 is overpriced now that the Xbox Ally X is 1000?

MSI Claw A8 with Z2 extreme is 850$ where I'm from, so yes it's expensive.

Which one are you keeping?

The performance is actually worse a lot of the time than both the XAX and claw 8ai (when claw using xess). But at least you get a fancy expensive OLED. Benchmarks in this review: https://gadgetrytech.com/msi-claw-8-ai-vs-msi-claw-a8-bz2em-two-amazing-handheld-gaming-pcs/

New to gaming✨

The switch 2 is a borderline scam unless you like Nintendo first parties and the steam deck is showing its age. If you can wait till the holiday season:ROG Xbox Ally X / ROG Xbox Ally This one is going to be the most powerful handheld that's available to you the fastest, but it's overpriced: MSI Cla

Buy a handled in summer 2025 or wait until EOY?

I just got a legion go s z1extreme steam os for 629€ new in Wallapop as seeing the z2 extreme us pretty underwhelmung and prices like the msi claw a8 being 1k are just not justified imo. There is Gon a be a lot of fomo so take advantage of it and maybe in a few months maybe you can get a z2extreme f

ROG Xbox Ally Handhelds Launch October 16: Get Ready to Play!

The only other handheld with a Z2E chip we have so far is the MSI Claw A8 which was available for pre-order in Germany for €999 and the leaks for the ROG Xbox Ally X mention a €899 price so if you consider that, it's definitely going to be competitive. With that said, it's obviously still really exp
