Barely better than a rog ally X, and feels worse than msi claw 8 ai+, specially screen and battery. Performance wise, if you already have rog ally X or msi, there's no point in getting this one. If you dont have any pc handheld it's a good adquisition.

Tried ROG XAX and MSI Claw 8AI+ both, thought the performance and screen is superb, the rest is a downer (loosy Sticks, D-Pad, Vibration). On the other side the ROG XAX was great, but the screen just too small. I guess i'm waiting for the next handheld with Intel panther lake then.

I miss the Ally X. Software was great. Gyro controls, easy form factor and use. 7 inches though was too small for my approaching 42 year old eyes. Text especially. The MSI Claw 8ai is amazing. The downside for me on the LeGo2 has actually been the screen being TOO big, feels like standing too close to the TV. Also having to turn the brightness up much higher than on the claw. Which means way shorter battery life. Stupid MSI for nerfing their own product by giving it horrible ergonomics.

I’ve had both, and to me it doesn’t matter how big the screen is when the device is uncomfortable. Plus, as you’ve mentioned, the MSI software is absolutely dogshit and, quite frankly, an embarrassment. I’m not sure about prices where you are, but the Claw is also £100 more expensive in the UK. I've had both the 8AI+ and the Claw A8 and the A8 is about the be returned. This is personal preference, everyone is different... The A8 does not feel as premium as the 8AI, the plastics feel cheaper and they've made the fans smaller to allow larger SSDS to be fitted so you get louder fans at idle.

It depends. I am getting rid of the Msi claw ai+ because I’m enjoying the Go2 more. Once I experienced that screen I see no point for me to get it and play in a smaller, no OLED, less colorful screen.
