I know that monsgeek is owned by akko. The OEM that produces the PCB for the m1 v5 TMR is a company called rongyuan, and their firmware suffers from many stability issues caused by poor input filtration. This is the same OEM that keyboards like the fun60 and some ace60 models use, and you can see th

120 percent or 120 keys? o.O Full size is what u describe - (normal keyboard alpha-numeric + fkeys top row + arrow and function keys then + numpad on right side) And u can get a 80% (which is what I believe the wooting 80 is) he, he = hall effect (magnetic switches, NOT mechanical, but most magnetic

Help decide, MonsGeek M1 V5 vs MCHOSE GX87 Ultra vs Keychron K2 HE
I’d skip Monsgeek. I had both the old and 2025 versions of M1V5 TMR. The build was solid sure, but the software is bloody awful. Random disconnections, tried on different computers, happened to both old and new versions.

Help decide, MonsGeek M1 V5 vs MCHOSE GX87 Ultra vs Keychron K2 HE
Owned the monsgeek tmr version of the above, and was not too keen on it, physically the board is solid, but it just sounded wrong, is very heavy (which is good) but no way to 'grasp' it to easily move around desk(which is bad) and to connect mechanical switches, u have to 'pierce' the layer over the

Looking for competitive TKL/75 snap tap keyboard
assuming 150$ budget, check out IROK MG75 Pro/Max/V2 and SU75 Pro.Whichever suits your budget. All come with aluminium case and they sound pretty decent. All 3 should be a step up from your Wooting60 HE.MG75v2 > MG75 Max = SU75 Pro > MG75 Pro You can get M1 V5 TMR/HE if you want, but it uses RongYuan

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - May 09, 2026
My Ducky Year of the Monkey (2016) with Brown switches has finally died and I'm looking for a replacement. Also considering moving to the 75% form factor after reading it's a bit more ergonomic given my shoulder is pretty bad. I'd prefer aluminium over plastic, wired is fine given the keyboard will

Worst Software Ever Used
Monsgeek software is hot garbage. Made the mistake to buy a non VIA M1W V3 and regret it. The board is nice but the software puh, never again. My M1 V5 is the VIA version and it is a much better experience.

Any kind of tutorial for using the Monsgeek software?
It's the magnetic board, M1 V5 TMR. Using the Monsgeek Driver V4 software. I knew it would be bad before buying, but I didn't imagine it would be just straight up nonfunctional... I've had to use the re-calibration tool because several keys completely stopped responding. I guess it adds up why the b
