The best bang for buck entry-level gear, IMO, is the Breville Bambino ($250) and DF54 ($250). Highly recommend a separate grinder as you can then upgrade one or the other as you like. You’ll also want a basic 0.1g scale, e.g. MiiCoffee Nano ($35).

I always hear good things about the MiiCoffee/Turin grinders, except for minor retainage and power issues. If I was starting from scratch on a budget, I'd definitely get the DF54. But by the time you get up to the DF64 or DF83 budgets, other premium models seem to get better reviews.

Most domestic kitchen grinders will just fail with repeated use, they are not designed for. A DF54 you could try, but I suspect most of the Turin/MiiCoffee grinders
