Surface Pro 12-inch review: heart warmer

Here lemme save you a click: Microsoft’s 12-inch Surface Pro, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus chip, delivers impressive performance and battery life. The redesigned tablet, featuring a fanless design and a repositioned stylus, combines the best of tablets and laptops. While some apps, like P

Microsoft Is Abandoning Windows 10. Hackers Are Celebrating.

You know what's ironic? I have a 6-7 years old Microsoft Surface Pro. It still works, great screen for watching TV. It fulfills all the requirements (TPM 2.0, secure boot, specs) for the upgrade to Windows 11. "Your device isn't compatible with Windows 11" brother you made the device and you made th

Microsoft is combining “the best of Xbox and Windows together” for handhelds

It's Microsoft. They consistently struggle, hardware and software, for devices smaller than a laptop. I have a Surface Pro. Really innovative device. They let the hardware stagnate for almost 5 years, doing minor CPU updates? Once they finally refreshed the hardware, they put the Qualcomm ARM chip t

iPad vs. Laptop - Project Supers

Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is what we use. It's a tablet and a laptop. Also comes with a pen so you can draw shit if needed. Can't beat it. The PMs get actual laptops.

Google's Linux Terminal plays a big part in turning Android into a true desktop OS -- "Google's new Linux Terminal could make Android a true rival to Windows and macOS"

Tbh I am on LineageOS, which is better than what my vendor shipped with (Xiaomi 🙄). But I just wanna be able to use my phone as a "computing device" y'know. Like my computer. Termux is a great tool for that and I absolutely love termux but it's limitations are pretty obvious. I bought a Microsoft su

Dear Microsoft, Fuck you and your non-replaceable laptop battery

On my surface pro 9 I managed to remove the screen, clean the cooling system, repaste and put it back together without issues, but I can't recommend doing this if you are not patient and tech-savvy.

Any good computer shops?

Its a fairly easy process You'd just need a 2230 M.2 SSD and some way of migrating the old data or a fresh Windows 11 install. Best to get a shop to do it if none of the above made sense. At least Microsoft made the upgrade easy on the Surface Pro 9. Prior models required taking the whole thing apar

Didn’t know he did whatever 😕

I'm reading this from a Surface Pro 9 with a Be Nice Or Leave sticker on it. It has since been removed. Screw that guy and republicans in general.

Is this real??

I won the surface pro 9 a couple years ago, it’s legit. They’ll email you in the next couple days and you’ll enter some personal info to verify your identity and give your address. Then they’ll send you some tax paperwork you need to fill out and mail back in a relatively restricted amount of time.

Anyone else running lots of real estate off their Surface? Let’s see your Surface rigs!

Surface pro 9 i7 with a 1200?p dell 24inch vertical next to an LG C4 42. the surface pro cant run it at full color 4:4:4 chroma more than 30hz though, hdmi2.1 is 48 gbps vs tb3 usbc at 40gbps so i need an EGPU at least, but realistically im goig to get a strix halo mini pc i think.
