Its a fairly easy process You'd just need a 2230 M.2 SSD and some way of migrating the old data or a fresh Windows 11 install. Best to get a shop to do it if none of the above made sense. At least Microsoft made the upgrade easy on the Surface Pro 9. Prior models required taking the whole thing apar

Yes the entire O365 suite is Arm native, including Outlook (classic). I just opened it on my Surface Pro 9 5G to confirm.

My partner uses an Intel i7-based Microsoft Surface Pro 8. Her university provides Microsoft, Zoom, Canvas and Adobe, so she has the option of taking notes, sharing, collaborating etc. on any of those platforms. These clouds (and Google's, of course) are accessible on her phone as well, so in the ev

Surface devices have bever been cheap and, other than the occasional target market product, never will be. Have you missed that little fact for more than a decade? Same goes with the detachable keyboard - missed the fact some have made the comment since SP1? As for the device itself, people wanted a

Here in AU a lot of Surfaces come out of enterprise leases, are auctioned in bulk and end up with eBay shops. Surface Pro 9 should start to be more available soon and is pretty much same performance as the SP10/11.

You get the Laptop when you want the bigger screen or the traditional form factor. For example, the r

I just retired my Surface Pro 4 that my wife gifted me in 2017. I replaced it with a refurbished Surface Pro 9 that I set up last week. I'm typing this reply on it. I bought a 9 because I wanted Intel not Snapdragon (because reasons).

i feel you, the model names are a mess now. for your use case (office, slicers, no ai care) grab a surface pro 9 with intel i5 or i7 - avoid the arm version. the 9 still runs all your existing software without drama. if budget's tight, a refurb pro 7+ with 16gb ram handles everything you listed fine
