An OLED cheaper than 32GB of RAM.
After like 8 years of waiting for the perfect 3:2 monitor I settled for a Benq RD280U 4K+ 3:2 IPS 60hz. after having it for a couple of months I plan to get a second one. Ever since Microsoft launched the Surface Studio, I've wanted a 28" 3:2 monitor, I've been using a 3:2 laptop since the release o

Next-gen 13.8 and 15-inch Surface Laptops should be rebranded as Surface Laptop Pro.
No, they really shouldn't. For the first thing, the laptops aren't really "Pro" laptops. They aren't high powered, don't have highly accurate screens etc. There isn't much about them that would indicate a "Pro" status. Secondly, it's not in line with the naming scheme. It is currently setup as: SURF

Microsoft prepares display upgrades and two stage launch for new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop
They seem like they've all but given up on any creative applications for the Surface line. No Surface Studios, laptop or otherwise. No books. The Slim Pen 2 looks like a thermometer, and draws about as bad as one. Even the settings for stylus tweaking have been stripped back in Windows. A Movink 14

The Ultimate Laptop Buying Guide (April 2026): Everything You Need to Know Before You Make Your Purchase.
That’s a great gift for your son! For law school, reliability, battery life, and a great keyboard are the three most important things since he'll be doing a lot of typing and research. In the $1000-$1200 range, here are the two best options that will easily last him through all 3 years of law school

Windows now blocks all apps? What the hell?
btw.. in your screenshot.. it you press 'learn more' you should be able to run whatever you were trying to run. and about linux, ubuntu gets a shit ton of hate for no reason in my experience and is the only distro that worked basically out of the box on my microsoft surface laptop.. Surface laptop 7 or Macbook Air M5
Wow. Didn’t know anyone actually used OneDrive! M5 will be fast. Touchpad will be nice. Battery will be great. Mac Windows and Linux desktop have become more similar. Microsoft products work on a Mac, except Visio and Project. File manager on Mac is generally better after some learning pain. If you

Here Are the Four MacBooks Apple Is Expected to Launch Next Year
I can see that there's no changing your mind at all. Here's my two cents and no need to respond. I want it to be like the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio - except done right. It can be in pure laptop mode but it should be able to enter into a proper tablet mode. This would make sense having touchscr

What laptop should I buy?
Depends on your budget but I'd say anything with at least 16GB of RAM, an Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 with a good keyboard and display should get you through. I'm not sure exactly how well the new Snapdragon chips work with the course but they have great battery life usually so that's something to c

Apple's $599 MacBook Neo Sold Out Through April 2026 Amid Surging Demand
Maybe it’s me but I can’t seem to find a surface laptop that starts at $800, arm or not. The cheapest machine on the Microsoft website is the Surface Pro, which starts at $1,050 without a keyboard or power supply. For the keyboard and power supply (the neo comes with both) it’s at $1270, more than d
