AIRY SOUND, AERIER PRICE (25% OFF)
According to Google: The Meze 105 AER is an excellent, comfortable open-back headphone for immersive gaming, but only a good choice for competitive FPS (First-Person Shooters). They offer precise imaging and good spatial awareness, but their warm, bass-heavy signature might mask subtle footsteps dur

Fiio FT1 or HD 600 for complementing my Arya Stealth?

Gonna launch my headphones !
There is the "Budget" version of those Meze's I own, they are called the Meze 105 Aer and are $300. They sound great out of anything and are a bit more bassy than standard studio headphones. They are open backs but are more like Semi-open in terms of bleed through. They are 眉ber comfortable, complet

I want to hear what meze can offer for gaming/music
ive tried a decent amount of sennheiser headphones and your right they lack bass until i tried the sennheiser 490 pro, that had one has it all, unfortunately i had a pressure point on top and had to send them back. i am testing the meze 105 aer atm, the comfort is better then the sennheiser no press

Comfortable Open Backs around/under $350(USD)/$600(NZD)
I'm in NZ. I have some sony MDR-MV1s i dont require. Less than a month old. I brought a few sets at the same time but too open for my noisy PC. Theyre incredibly comfortable though and sound great if you like tight clean punchy bass. PM me if interested. Other option in your price is the Meze 105 AE

Desperately need help
Haha np. No strong opinion, I haven鈥檛 tried any (except built-in in meze 105 aer). I wanted to use headphones in a way they were designed, and never had issues with pain on top of my head caused by headband.

I鈥檝e tried all you mentioned and even more (1990 pro mk2, 900 pro x, 990 pro x) - all of them have great big pads but clamp force is too strong, it wasn鈥檛 comfy, this is specific to Beyerdynamic. Hd 600 or 650 are good, but also have higher clamp force. In terms of comfort for casual listening for 1

Why do people give Sennheiser such good rep when - in my experience - their top headphones have build quality issues, specifically CREAKs. E.g. HD 490 pro
Yeah tbh, i love the sennheiser hd 500 sound but the amount of hate i have for the fanboys and the company just delivering plastic creaks is annoying. I did have the hd 660s2, only briefly, they only creaked when i made them, as in, when i held them in my hands and rotated the cups - otherwise they
