May flash f700 elite compatibility
Yeah I've got an F500 and I am really surprised that the newer F700 doesn't have full PS5 compatibility. Seems like a real doosie that Mayflash has not included a USB passthrough for using the Booter S5 like with the F500. What a step backwards

Happy times
This is basically the meta layout for any 2d fighting game, bind the P4 button to important actions like parry in Sf6 or dash in GGST. For tekken I think korean levers are actually better than leverless but in T8 it doesn't matter anymore because movement is nerfed and simplified. I ordered a Haute4

Genuine Question: Why don’t you switch to leverless?
I am trying to learn lever less on VF5 Revo. I bought a Mayflash F500 Flat a few days ago and so far, I don't like it. Akira is a very technical character, and he uses tapping motions, and for the most part they are easy enough on either stick or lever less. Something like his shoulder strike (4,6,6

Is this a good first fightstick?
The original Mayflash f500 flat does need adapters. The f700 does not.

Tighter gate
I've only had it a couple weeks so probably only about 10hrs in. Maybe that's the answer but it just feels too strict to get the inputs right. I have a mayflash f500 and I can feel the corners much easier but sadly it doesn't work on ps5. I've not got that many hrs on that either though! Funnily eno

I accidentally wiped the graphite (?) lube off my lever switches
Hopefully yours holds up, but my mayflash f500 lever broke after a couple hundred hours. It might make more sense to pop in a sanwa or something now for a few more bucks than buying lube now and a lever later. My stock lever was fine enough until it broke, but the sanwa I replaced it with was an upg

Beginner arcade stick guides – looking for honest feedback from people who’ve been there
Back when I started into the Arcade Stick world in like 2018, I bought the mayflash f500 (was licensed as venom arcade stick at this point). Two weeks later I bought sanwa obfs Buttons and a jlf which I was happy with at the time. Like a year into it i was kinda unpleased with the sanwas and the jlf

Controller??
Used to use a mayflash f500 but I’ve always hated using the joystick. Currently don’t have the funds to spend on a hitbox so I’m using my keyboard and i like it so much more

SF6 Switch 2 player here - have fallen for leverless and looking to upgrade
Do you like arcade buttons, do you want something you can continue to upgrade that's easy to maintain? I thought I liked arcade buttons, but I tried the Mayflash F500 Elite and didn't really like the feel of the Sanwa buttons. I don't think I'll do any upgrading or modding, so not too concerned abou

Beginner in Fightstick
It depends a bit on what you want, my recommendations would be Full compatibility with ps4-5 out of the box and new -Qanba Drone 2 (light and inexpensive) -Hori Alpha (standard, not too heavy or light) -Qanba Obsidian 2 (big, a bit heavy but with a premium feeling) Used (I personally use these 2) -Q
