Manual espresso grinder

Either of those will do very well with espresso. I have the X-Pro (predecessor to the XU) and I use it every day just about for light roast espresso. Coffee Chronicler says the MPP is the best hand grinder on the market for light roast espresso, however: https://coffeechronicler.com/mavo-phantox-pro

Advice on buying a Hand Grinder

If your budget allows, I highly recommend MAVO Phantox Pro. I think they’re about 8k dito sa PH market. [MOD] The Daily Question Thread

I would lean towards the 1Zpresso J Manual or X-Ultra, depending upon how budget sensitive you are. 1Zpresso has outstanding build quality—quite a bit better than Kingrinder, IMHO. Their grinders are easy to disassemble for maintenance and cleaning. The J Manual in particular is a very fast hand gri

Can you return 1zpresso grinder (to Amazon) after one use

Check out the Mavo Phantox Pro for a similar (perhaps better in some regards) grinder (with screw-in catch cup) for a slightly lower price point. https://coffeechronicler.com/mavo-phantox-pro-review/

Help choosing manual grinder

Don't sleep on the Mavo Phantox Pro for light roasts. It has a pretty unique burr geometry that excels with lighter roasts. This review goes into pretty good detail. https://coffeechronicler.com/mavo-phantox-pro-review/

Kingrinder k2 or Baratza Encore?

I second this! Stretch to the Kingrinder K6, or the Mavo Phantox Pro on sale. Whichever is cheaper. They seem to be the best bang for buck at the moment. I have both. The Kingrinder is more "sweet"/mixed. And the Mavo is more clarity focused. Both are blended in comparison to something like the 1zpr

Coffee grinder recommendations

Under 12k i would honestly say check out the mavo phantox pro. It's a Chinese grinder (like timemore) and competes with the much more expensive 1zepressos of the world. I picked it up in vietnam for 3mil vnd which is exactly 10k. It's way more expensive everywhere else, including the US. It's been e
