M.A.Cximal Matte Lipstick

The only things I'd say is that the stores will have the newish Macximal lipsticks. So hopefully OP runs into a seasoned MAC rep who might be able to lead her in the right direction. Also, a lot of the shades of the same name have been reformulated and may not look the same as they used to.

I also got my lips swelled from shade warm teddy of this lipstick range. I found so many girls having allergy ti this specific range of lipsticks by mac. Their macximal lipstick range is so disappointing.

Still my lips are recovering. Check reddit, you will find many. Most raised concerned regarding mac macximal range lipsticks.

I hear you, my natural lips are more dusty rose beige colour with a slight two tone going on. That’s where lip liner can really help. I suppose you’d want something more muted but still looks fresh? Some of Mac’s lipsticks after reformulation do seem a bit brighter than before because of the opacity

I’m just following up to say I’m so sad, I finally went back to Mac for lipsticks - never had a problem until the new MacXimal lipstick. So far only tried snob and my lips were itching so badly and it even made my throat tingle. I wish I knew what it was, Fenty does this too me too

They discontinued the Mac Classic Matte lipstick line and replaced it with Macximal and I will never forgive them. The Classic Whirl had been my go to for years.

I also found the formula of dark matte lipsticks from MAC to be soso (I have bare macximal). I got the mac lip primer and it actually really helped with the wear. I recommend trying it out, but check online for sales bc the retail price is too much lol
