Not at all, especially the new macximal silky matte formula. The only MAC formulas that may be a bit drying are the retro matte & locked kiss ink (transfer proof) formulas, you’re good with the rest.

I love a good matte or soft matte lip too and I have sensitive and big lips, so big lip lines, and a lot of them don’t work for me.
