Not at all, especially the new macximal silky matte formula. The only MAC formulas that may be a bit drying are the retro matte & locked kiss ink (transfer proof) formulas, you’re good with the rest.

I love a good matte or soft matte lip too and I have sensitive and big lips, so big lip lines, and a lot of them don’t work for me. I also found the formula of dark matte lipsticks from MAC to be soso (I have bare macximal). I got the mac lip primer and it actually really helped with the wear. I recommend trying it out, but check online for sales bc the retail price is too much lol
