Looking for a premium wireless mouse for my partner (Linux user, tinkerer, coder, FPS gamer)

Logitech G502 X Lightspeed The Logitech G502 line is easily one of the best there is. I currently a white and black G502 X Plus and it'll take a lot for me to move to something else. While gaming focused it's great for general purpose use as well. It can work with Linux but there's no way to setup t

FELLOW SURVIVERS, I NEED HELP PICKING A MOUSE. (I cant sleep)

G502 x plus is what I have i personally love it and I use computers for work and a variety of mouses lots of random logitech ones mainly. Its just a solid mouse plus logitech G hub does work for most part. I wouldn't buy a mouse just for one game but thats me.

I love this OS besides 1 thing

I'm using a Logitech g502x plus with kde and solaar on a different arch-based distro and I am seeing no issues. Solaar has a known issue with the mouse going slow especially with higher polling rates, and there is a tooltip next to its dpi setting telling you how to fix it. Once I get back on my com

I want to get a razor basilisk v3 but I heard so many reliability horror stories

I think I can help you here, since I owned g502 hero, g502x plus and Razer basilisk v3 pro.I first had g502 hero - it wasn’t anything special. Felt rather heavy, clicks weren’t satisfying, imho looked chunky and… buttons started double clicking after a year. I then switched to g502 x plus and really

Proton Experimental gets fixes for Path of Exile 1 & 2, Guild Wars 2, Call of Duty (2003), Exanima and more

i would very much want to play gw2 on my cachyOS but there are 2 things stopping it : - tough to setup reshade and the overlay mods- can't get my logitech g502x plus extra buttons and gshift profile to work on linux. I cannot play gw2 without those extra mouse keys thats years of muscle memory for m

How do I turn off auto-scroll mode on the Razer Basilisk V3 when I scroll quickly with the wheel?

i ran into this on my basilisk v3 too. synapse sometimes glitches with the smart-reel feature. try turning off 'smart-reel' in the wheel settings tab, not just auto-scroll. if that doesn't stick, a clean synapse reinstall usually fixes it. for what it's worth, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro has a smoothe

SABRE v2 PRO MG First Impressions

Just purchased the Sabre V2 Pro Magnesium and the Corsair Vanguard Air 99. I was really excited for both, but coming from a Logitech G502 X PLUS and G915 X, I’m honestly disappointed that neither currently supports iCUE. This feels especially hard to justify with the £200+ Vanguard Air 99, given tha

Durable alternatives to the Basilisk V2?

i had the same button failure on v2 after 2 years. v3 uses optical switches which last longer but the side buttons still use mechanical ones. for driver-less programming check Logitech G502 X plus - onboard memory saves macros to mouse itself. also Corsair Darkstar has 15 programmable buttons and wo

Why does the Naga Pro V2 require the synapse app to be running to use simple keybinds like Scroll up/down and cycle apps?

i feel you on this. the move to software-dependent keybinds is annoying when older models had it onboard. razer likely did it to push synapse features and data collection, but yeah it feels backwards. if you want full onboard control without background apps, the Logitech G502 X Plus saves profiles i

Recommendations similar to Basilisk Ultimate but more buttons? Avoiding Razer

The G502 X Plus might be your sweet spot - similar ergonomics to the Basilisk but with more programmable buttons scattered around. I've been using one for about 8 months now and the build quality feels way more solid than any Razer I've owned. Logitech's software is also less of a nightmare to deal
