I'm a big fan of the Logitech G502 X Plus. I use a 34" widescreen and game a lot. I have the mouse settings set at 2500DPS and it's smooth. An amazing mouse. The G903 is also good!

stopped using a glass mousepad. went back to a 10 dollar cloth from steel series, no issues. Specs say the g502 x plus is the same hero sensor, but its not. my other model g502's worked just fine on the same glass mousepad for years. I use two entirely seperate setups, simply because I think there isn’t really anything that is great for both and I refuse to compromise. Beyond that, I adore the Apple products. But they’re nearly useless for gaming (which I use Logitech G915 X and G502 X Plus for).
