Giving the A50X a test run. Debating between these and the Nova Pros.
Here’s my opinion as a console user… I just returned my A50 headset to Best Buy and swapped to the A50x. If there's any sound difference between the 2 due to the bit rate - it's very minor imo (but I have 58 year old ears with a lot of concert time on them). I just wanted the ability to have chatmix

ABSOLUTE dumpster fire of a product astro a50x
I had the previous generation Astro A50, which logitech stopped supporting, which they bricked through some bullshit software upgrade Have you ever heard the saying "once bitten twice shy" or "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" I have the A50 Astro Lightspeed I don't know if it's

It’s time… 🍊
Try A50X Gen 5 Stock Pads - Immersive, Best All Around EQ, or Best Sound for A50 Gen 5. These are presets on Logitech Hub. I prefer the stock pads immersive by gadgetry tech, they are all good choices tho.

My opinion on the Atro A50 X
I own both concurrently and can give you my 2c You’re mixing up a workflow change with an actual audio downgrade. Gen 4 didn’t give you “real” surround everywhere — it matrixed lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 over Toslink and virtualised it in the base station. Convenient, yes. Higher fidelity, no. It added

A50X on PC, audio clipping or getting too "sharp" at higher volumes. any fix for this?
Return it if you can, buy a used 2nd generation A50 and use firmware version 5037, any astro firmware or headset produced after this is a disgrace. My gen 2 has lasted over a decade and still works perfectly. Don't listen to any Astro or Logitech mod because they will gaslight you into thinking it's

Astro A50 Gen5 PS5
Dear Support Team, I have already reported this issue, but I would like to clearly and structuredly describe it again, as it is becoming increasingly frustrating. About a year ago, I had the exact same problem with the Astro A50X. Now I am using the Astro A50 Gen 5 – and unfortunately, the issue sti

What’s the best wireless gaming headset you’ve used so far?
The newest Astro A50 X are amazing but quite a pretty penny. I've been wearing Astro's since 2008 with Halo, but honestly if you're trying to save some money the Astro A20 X (which is literally the newer Logitech G522 but with console support via the added dongle) is a really solid pick that I'm hap

Looking for an upgrade
Astro A50 X has a completely different sound than the older models before they got bought out by logitech. Its a decent headset but you need to use "Steel series sonar" to make it sound like the OG Astros.
